According to foreign media reports, Lexus plans to launch LS hydrogen fuel cell version of the model, or officially debut during the year. It is reported that Lexus Motor Corporation on April 24 to the US Patent and Trademark Office to submit the "LS-FC Concept" trademark registration application.
LS-FC Concept is very likely to use a similar hydrogen fuel cell and an all-wheel drive system with Lexus LF-FC, where the front wheels will be driven by two independent motors and the rear wheels driven by an electric motor. The car can be through the computer for four wheels driving force to accurately adjust to achieve more sophisticated dynamic control and excellent driving performance.
As the 2017 Lexus LS models planned to be officially listed in the North American market by the end of the year, so a foreign media have speculated that LS hydrogen fuel cell version of the model or will be held in mid-November at the Los Angeles Auto Show debut.
