Symptom:
A 2006 annual production Honda Accord 2.4LCM5 sedan, mileage 80,000 km. Users reflect the newly installed battery often loss of power, can not normally start the vehicle.
According to the author of the new battery often reflect the situation, indicating that the vehicle may exist leakage phenomenon. I decided to use the battery negative in series test lamp method to check the leakage position, so the battery negative line removed, the test light access between the negative pole and negative line. At this point, the author found that the test light just access the line, flashing a few times to go out, but after about 5s interval, the test light and re-lit and no longer extinguished, indicating the circuit does exist leakage phenomenon.
Possible causes of battery loss may include: ¢Ù vehicles after the installation of equipment such as anti-theft devices, audio, reversing radar and navigation equipment and other vehicles lead to leakage; ¢Ú alternator does not cause the battery power loss; ¢Û the original car some electrical components failure Resulting in vehicle leakage, such as the original car audio and seat heater.
The initial inspection has determined that there is a leakage phenomenon in the vehicle, so it is possible to eliminate the possibility that the generator is not generating power. I carefully check the vehicle, confirm that no equipment after the installation, and then the vehicle into the P block, pull out the ignition key and turn off all electrical equipment. Again in the battery negative pole in the battery terminal and the negative line circuit, the test light is lit, the first unplug the engine compartment fuse / relay box 22 fuse (100A), test light immediately extinguished, and thus determine No. 22 fuse under the jurisdiction of the branch where there is leakage situation.
See circuit diagram shows that No. 22 fuse divides two branches, a branch to the alternator, the measured, the generator output voltage is normal, indicating that the alternator power generation normal, excluding this branch failure; another branch And separated by a number of branches, respectively, through No. 4, No. 8, No. 10, No. 15, No. 19, No. 20 and No. 23 fuse power supply, so I then unplug these fuses, when unplugging No. 20 fuse , The test lamp immediately extinguished, thus determining the leakage point in the 20 fuse after the line.
According to the circuit shows that the No. 20 fuse for a total of six branches to provide power, the six branches were 12 ~ 17 fuse power supply. I will be installed on the 20th fuse in place, and then in turn unplug 12 ~ 17 fuse, when unplugged 17th fuse (20A), the test lamp immediately extinguished, thus determining the 17th fuse branch under the jurisdiction of leakage The
Continue to check the circuit diagram, I found the 17th fuse for the front passenger side of the electric seat sliding motor to provide power, the inspection, front passenger side of the front and rear movement of the motor switch cover the switch card stuck in the forward position, the switch cover back In-situ test light goes out. I have repeatedly tested several times, the failure did not appear again, so the cause of the failure to identify.
Troubleshooting:
Repair the front front seat motor before and after the switch, the fault completely ruled out.
